New Delhi:
Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran’s survival adventure film ‘The Goat Life: Aadujeevitam’, based on a true story, is all set to release in theaters worldwide on March 28. Blessy has brought on screen the story of ‘Aadujeevitam’, the most popular and best-selling novel in the world of Malayalam literature. Stars like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Amala Paul will be seen in Aadujeevitam. Music is by AR Rahman. The film will be released in five languages Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. It is being told that 20 camels and 250 sheep were arranged from Saudi Arabia for the shooting of the film. The shooting of the film was carried out in Algeria and Jordan.
Najeeb Prithviraj of ‘Aadujeevitam’ said, ‘This film is a journey of almost 16 years. Director Blessy came to me in 2008 and said, ‘You should play the role of Najeeb.’ The fact that he spent 16 years on one film shows his commitment. After deciding to do this film in 2009, it took ten years to start shooting because there were not many facilities in Malayalam cinema at that time. The story is about the life of a man trapped in the desert for three or four years. My weight increased a lot at the beginning of the film. After completing the shooting in Kerala, he stopped shooting for seven or eight months. Plessy gave me time to lose weight. Then we went to Jordan in 2020 and started shooting. But after a few days of shooting, the entire team got stuck there and could not shoot for three months due to Corona. After that we don’t know whether the shooting will start again or not. After two years we got permission and together we all went to Algeria, Sahara Desert for shooting. Then we went to Jordan. Then we came to Kerala. The post-production work of the film took one and a half years from 2022. When I said OK to this film in 2008, I was not married and at that time I had no face as a producer or distributor. Now the situation is good for cinema, especially Malayalam cinema.

Director Blessy said, ‘I have not seen a man like Rahman sir in the last 20, 25 years. Because when I started this story, I had no one. Big production company or whatever. Prithviraj is like my younger brother now. As he said, in these 16 years he has seen many things like marriage, child, producer etc. But he is still as involved as he was when the film started. Many people in our South India have gone to many places like Saudi and Kuwait and suffered hardships. Achievements and understanding have earned money. This film will be related to many such people. The story is that no matter how much difficulty and stress we face in our life, if we have a little faith inside us, we can definitely see success in our life.
